Casandra is a Blue Carbon Analyst at West Africa Blue, supporting the technical, new markets and global stakeholder engagement work streams. Before joining, she primarily worked as a consultant on soil remediation projects across California. Casandra holds a MSc in Environmental Science and Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a BSc in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Sustainability from San Diego State University. Her graduate research focused on carbon sequestration and storage in wetlands, sparking her interest in conservation, nature-based solutions, and global carbon markets
