Ibrahima is a sociologist with more than 21 years of experience in community development, local governance, environmental protection and sustainable development in Guinea. He has extensive expertise in decentralization, community mobilization, climate resilience, biodiversity restoration and conservation, and sustainable natural resource management.

Prior to joining West Africa Blue, Ibrahima worked with national and international institutions, including the Global Environment Facility, DVV International, international NGOs and several Guinean government ministries. He has coordinated multisectoral and humanitarian programmes funded by the European Union, World Bank, IFAD, IDA, AFD and UNICEF. His work has focused on strengthening local governance, supporting sustainable ecosystem management and promoting inclusive community-led development.

Ibrahima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Literature from Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry and a Master’s degree in Development Sociology from René Lévesque University. He has also completed specialized training in strategic development and related fields.
