Roch is part of the technical team at West Africa Blue, where he supports project development. He holds a Master’s degree from Climate Change & Finance at Imperial College London where he deep dived into carbon cycles and wrote his final thesis on biodiversity markets. Following his studies, he worked with a consulting firm to explore innovative funding tools for ecosystem conservation, notably mangroves in Colombia. His interest for regenerative farming led him to work as a business developer for Soil Capital, a carbon farming company, supporting farmers in Europe in their transition to more profitable and regenerative agriculture practices. His combined expertise in business, finance, and carbon project development, coupled with a deep commitment to nature conservation and restoration, ultimately brought him to West Africa Blue.
