Saikou is a Guinean environmentalist and administrator specializing in mangrove restoration, coastal ecosystem conservation and sustainable marine resource management. At West Africa Blue, he supports mangrove restoration activities in the Kaback sub-prefecture.

Prior to joining West Africa Blue, Saikou served as President of the Oceanium Association of Guinea and Executive Secretary of PREM Guinea. He combines GIS mapping and other technologies with a community-based approach to engage local communities in ecosystem restoration and the development of sustainable livelihoods.
